Paid placements must be transparent, trustworthy and appropriate for the Kenyan Oregon Network community.
Clear labeling
All paid placements are clearly identified as Sponsored, Featured or Advertisement. Advertising is never presented as independent editorial or community content.
Advertisements must be
- Accurate and supported by clear information
- Lawful in Oregon and applicable jurisdictions
- Appropriate for a broad community audience
- Professionally presented and readable on mobile
- Linked to a legitimate business, organization, event or campaign
Not permitted
- Fraudulent or misleading claims
- Illegal goods or services
- Discriminatory advertisements
- Adult or sexually explicit content
- Hate content or harassment
- Deceptive financial schemes
- Malware, phishing or unsafe destinations
Review and enforcement
Every campaign is reviewed before payment and scheduling. Kenyan Oregon Network may request edits, reject a campaign, pause an active placement, or remove creative that violates these standards. Approval does not endorse an advertiser’s claims, products or services.
Campaign availability, timing and final pricing are confirmed during review. A payment does not make a campaign active before its scheduled start date.
