Simple standards that keep local buying and selling useful, fair and safe.
Listings that break these rules may be removed. Repeated or serious violations may lead to account restrictions.
Items that are not allowed
- •Illegal goods, weapons, ammunition, or controlled substances.
- •Counterfeit, stolen, recalled, or unsafe products.
- •Listings that facilitate fraud or conceal what is being sold.
Honest listings
- •Use accurate photos, condition details, and pricing.
- •Do not post spam, duplicates, bait pricing, or misleading descriptions.
- •Mark an item sold promptly when it is no longer available.
Fair housing
- •Housing posts must not discriminate based on protected characteristics.
- •Share only a city or appropriate public location unless you intentionally choose otherwise.
Meet and pay safely
- •Meet in a busy public place and inspect items before paying.
- •Never send money in advance or share banking details.
- •Use Report when a listing appears unsafe or dishonest.
